Fortunately these carvewright bits will work in the rock chuck just fine. The adapters/quick change chuck system is not the best-- the aftermarket chuck "the rock chuck" is a more stable and more predictable way to hold the bits--you can read more about the rock chuck on the carvewright forum. It is not a perfect machine and it has a fairly steep learning curve, but for the money nothing else comes even close.LDR The carbide in these bits is very high quality and they last for many many projects if the product is used correctly.
